The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is a living, Bible believing, Bible teaching and Bible practicing church, currently operating in most parts of Africa, North and Central America including the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, many parts of Europe, Asia and Australia.

The church was founded in 1952 and since then, has grown to over 5,000 parishes worldwide with a total congregational strength of over one million people of different tribes, tongues, and races.

As received by the General Overseer (G.O.), Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye, the vision and mission statement of the Church include, but are not limited to, the following cardinal points with a qualifying addendum in view of the peculiarity of the demography in regions of the world where we are located. These are:

1. To make heaven.

2. To take as many people as possible with us.

3. To have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations.

4. To accomplish No. 1 above, holiness will be our lifestyle.

5. To accomplish No. 2 and 3 above, we will plant churches and lighthouses within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within ten minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries.

Our local assembly in Buffalo, New York, called Fountain of Restoration is a member of this worldwide body of Christian evangelicals whose ultimate desire is to reach the ends of the earth with the saving message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Church seeks to attract, retain and mold people from all walks of life through a well oiled wheel of evangelism that runs “from Main Street to Wall Street and from jail houses to the White House”.

The Love of God and compassion for all human beings form the center point of our practices as we pray, praise and worship God in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs that trigger the manifestation of His presence and His glory. Completely sold out to the will and purpose of God we maintain an attitude of gratitude in all situations and circumstances as we acknowledge and depend on the grace, mercy and goodness of an all powerful and all knowing God who looks beyond our faults and weaknesses.

By the grace of God, Fountain of Restoration was inaugurated on March 13, 2005 as a parish in Zone One of the North American regional structure made up of Parishes, Areas and Zones. The church is under the leadership of Pastor Paul Achem who has touched many lives in the body of Christ and in the secular world in Nigeria, Guinea, Cameroun, Guinea Bissau, Canada and now the United States of America.
